In 2018, I spearheaded the rebranding and transition of Zero Istanbul, a weekly events guide into Year Zero, a 160-page bilingual magazine covering arts and culture with commissioned profiles, opinion pieces and fashion editorials geared towards Gen Z. Coordinated with the publisher, an art director and Berlin-based Studio Yukiko throughout the redesign and printing process.

Profile on Tahribad-ı İsyan, a young hip-hop trio from Istanbul’s west side. Before I wrote this piece, I described them as “one of the best cultural acts that is coming out of Turkey right now,” to my editor, and my opinion remains unchanged.
